you need to develop a custom app for that. But I do not know if the Wialon SDK allows for it.

I think the issue is that the ecodriving is managed by unit not by driver so Gurtam will need to create some sort of mapping for this to be made available.

There should also be a capability to show this in the control room, that is, all drivers who have a work schedule today but have not filled out the questionnaire. The questionaries should be able to be created by type, one for the driver and one for the vehicle preflight check.

Is this Topic still being used for Wiatag discussions?

We have a number of staff working with the CMS for customers and we need the ability to set different access rights for them, eg some staff will only have read only access for certain customers others may have it for all customers.

The drill down capability in the video module is a great tool for looking at consumption. Would it be possible to have a scatter diagram that will show the variance of the units based on say a rolling 6 month average. That average becomes the 0 and we can see the variance above or below that average for the units.

This will allow us to identify quickly the units that are consuming greater than average traffic to allow for analysis as to why and then discuss with the customer ways to reduce the consumption or increase the packets available. Our customers are on term agreements so we cannot simply just add packets and they will pay. We have to go through a claim process to get the payment.

This way we can have the discussion when we see an abnormality in the usage pattern.

The new video module has the ability to have auto allocation of traffic packets at the total unit level and this happens on a FIFO basis. We have the need to be able to allocate the packets automatically by certain units.

The use case is that say we have 20 units registers and 3 of them are high users of traffic I need the capability to set the limit of the packages at the account level to control usage. In this case 26 packets monthly renewable, and set for 3 units automatically renewable for 2 packages each. So in the new month all units will get 1 package so 20 are consumed and there are 6 packages left. Those packages will the be consumed by the 3 units set for auto allocation but each unit has a restriction to two packages.

Everyone works with CMS on a daily basis and Gurtam have done a lot of work to make it easier for use to use but one area that is missing is for use to be able to create alerts on account items.

We can set restrictions on services but it would be good to be able to get an alert when a service, eg allocated units are reaching their limit and have that sent as a Telegram or Email alert.

The error is from the token side or from your API call?

Grouping as well as modernization of the reporting module is very much needed. Customers do not want large lists of reports that are using a naming convention to sperate them. Plus we need to be able to create a job to run all the reports in a group.

For retranslator and Wialon IPS there are documents but regarding protocols for the others you need to generate from your incoming server connection as there are no samples.

We have to have greater flexibility in setting the parameters for driver hours logging and reporting as using the current standard in Wialon is not suitable for our market so it is a wasted function for us. Giving us greater control over how the hours are captured, reported and alerted is a must. Many of the lower end system have this capability already.

One size does not fit all in this situation.

easiest way is to use an inclination sensor from say **** and you could have an alert that if the tray is raised and the driver moves the truck you trigger an in cabin alert.

Currently the definition of the billing plan history period is as show below in the hosting documentation

History period
The period of time during which the system stores the unit history, unit and user logs, and so on. You can indicate this time period either in days or months (select from the dropdown list). For example, if the value is 100 days, the messages older than 100 days are deleted automatically.
You can also redefine this parameter for every account separately.

I think that there needs to be a line added to address the hierarchy issue. That is, that an account higher in the hierarchy cannot have a shorter retention than the account below it.

I know there is a reference to it in the architecture description but not all users will go to that.

We need to focus a lot on security.
Can we also have authentication using Google Authentication Application. Also the ability to view the password so we can validate mistyping.

Look at the Galileosky v7 and the Ruptela pro4. Speed set by geozone group and this triggers a buzzer all from the device

I am running a Windows 10 Pro machine and cannot get the driver installer or the flash tool to work ...is it compatible with Windows 10?

Currently when a unit is deleted from an account it ends up in the Trash folder but the account from which it was deleted is not in the information about the unit. We do reconciliations for many of our customers and each month and we need to indicate which units have been added and deleted for the month to get the balance to be charged for the next month.

To see the account information we need to restore the unit and this is not an acceptable practice from our perspective as then we need to delete the unit again. Plus it takes extra effort to identify the account.

What we need is for a field to be added to show the account from which the unit was deleted so we do not have to restore the unit. This account field should also be available using the API.

There are many things to consider speed of movement is just one of them. The environment the vehicle is ie is it on a busy road where immobilizing the unit even at low speed could result in an accident. When the engine is stopped all power assistance for steering and breaking is also lost. Normally the immobilization occurs when the vehicle is turned off and it cannot be restarted. In some countries it is illegal to immobilize the engine directly.

Alternative is to restrict the fuel so that the vehicle has to pull over and then it could be immobilized.

What we need is to be able to use some programming functions such as IF..THEN..ELSE and LOOKUP in both notifications and custom sensors. This will go a long way to solving these types of problems. So for a notification to a driver in the send to number we use a reference to the drivers mobile number.

For aggregation of counts we could use a custom count sensor that is pointed to a target sensor and each time the target sensor triggers the count sensor goes up by 1. This could have the option to send an alert on each cycle, eg if the cycle is 5 it will send the first alert at the count of 5 and the next at the count of 10 etc

Most of our larger customers do not allow the driver to be distracted by SMS or emails whilst driving so there should be a trigger that can send the alerts to the driver when he completes the trip. The in cabin alerting system, eg buzzer should have triggered when the violation occurred. The report is used in the driver daily debrief.

Is the manual adding of implements possible? I have added the operations but when I go to the implements tab it is blank, because I do not have them in Wialon. I in the user guide it says they can be added manually. I need to do this as there are a lot of operations that do not use trailers from Wialon.

Great new application looking to see how it develops and the value it can bring to our customers. Keeping Wialon as the solution that sets the standard.

Is the application designed only for field crops or will it also take into consideration plantations?

Is it possible to have coordinates to show on the map when we are creating a field? Most times we get the field guys marking he corners of an area by recording the coordinates as it is a new field.

Be also great if this information could be placed against the items on the hardware pages on the Gurtam web site....shows Gurtam's commitment to the community and cements itself as the leader in the telematics monitoring space
